Strategic Plan: Growing The Convenant

Beginning in summer 2020, MENTOR Maryland | DC engaged in a strategic planning process designed and led by Equivolve to clarify their goals and priorities for supporting mentoring across Maryland as well as consider a formal expansion into DC. Through data collection, survey analysis, stakeholders interviews, focus groups, and a planning retreat with the board and staff, the organization set its five-year plan which includes an expanded footprint. The resulting strategic plan reflects the input and voices of those served by MENTOR Maryland | DC and sets the stage for continued growth and impact.

Maryland MENTOR was established through the hard work, vision, and support of many different stakeholders who believed in the need and opportunity for such an organization to exist. In this important moment of reflection and growth, we want to honor and thank those who have helped the organization get to where it is. Now, in 2021, the organization is expanding its footprint to more formally serve the DC Metro Area as MENTOR Maryland | DC. MENTOR Maryland | DC cannot do this work alone and it is our hope that our community and partners will recommit with us as we move on the path set forward by this process.
