In Fall 2019, MENTOR Maryland | DC surveyed Baltimore City Schools, with Equivolve’s support, to understand available mentoring programs, the design of those programs, existing partnerships, tools and best practices.

Most schools operated a mentoring program with the School Integrated Program being the most common type, and Small Group Mentoring being the most common model used. Finding consistent and/or available mentors is a common challenge, and respondents said they could benefit from support with recruiting mentors.
